This stone and this style of abstract sculpture has been our most popular piece we have probably ever had.  John Chewa, who is also well known for carving rabbits and hares.  To obtain this particularly beautiful type of stone, the Stobarts worked with the arts community to purchase directly from a stone mine in  Zimbabwe, whereby it was blasted, hand selected and transported back to the art community and given to the artists to work their magic.
