Common Cormorant or Shag

Also known as a Shag in New Zealand, this Cormorant, designed by Louise Stobart of Birdwoods Metal Sculpture Zimbabwe, will sit very comfortably on a post or fence as he dries his wings.

He is made from metal 44 gallon recycled oil drums in Zimbabwe and finished with a protective anti-weathering coating, which looks even better when the elements have taken the shine off it!

His wingspan is 84cm and he is 53cm high.  Toes to tail he is 32cm deep.
