Say hello to Paul, our spirited Birdwoods Pīwakawaka. Curious, lively, and always radiating good vibes, Paul embodies everything we love about these iconic New Zealand birds. Pīwakawaka are one of the few native species that have flourished alongside humans, and many Kiwis (including much of the Birdwoods team!) happily rank them among the top five coolest birds in Aotearoa.
Handcrafted in Arrowtown by our Birdwoods ceramics team, each Pīwakawaka is individually formed from white porcelain and carefully glazed to bring its personality to life. These cheerful little birds look right at home perched on a windowsill, keeping you company on your desk, or adding charm to a garden tree or fence post.
Because every piece is handmade, your Paul will be truly one-of-a-kind, with slight variations that make each bird uniquely special.
