Temba Rhino Bangle

Temba's rhino charm is inspired by an orphaned black rhino calf in southern Zimbabwe called 'Squirt'.  Squirt was hand raised at Bubye Valley Conservancy when his mother was shot by poachers.  Although she survived a bullet in her head, his mother lost her sight.  Squirt is the funniest and sweetest animal, growing up with two naughty goats for company. 

Temba Collection was created in Zimbabwe.  This brand came about as a result of a shared love of jewellery and of Zimbabwe’s wild heritage, inspiring the Temba debut collection in sterling silver.

In the Ndebele and Venda languages of southern Zimbabwe, Temba means to love or to trust.
