There is nothing like a bit of time on a tropical island to make one think about the meaning of life! Bruce and I departed New Zealand at the end of February, leaving our all-consuming life of Birdwoods for our ‘grown up gap year’ in Vanuatu. So far, so good, although as we are finding ‘every paradise does have its mosquitoes’! Our Aore Island adventure has prompted some recent media coverage including a lovely feature in NZ Life & Leisure and a piece in the NZ Herald.
We wouldn’t want anyone to think Birdwoods has closed – it is the sum of many wonderful people and, while the two of us are taking this break, our team is ensuring it’s very much business as usual at Birdwoods.
